Don't recall the layout of your model; however, I got a lot of help with
this phase of my restoration from list members, so possibly I can put my two
cents in the ring by explaining what I found when I took my unit apart.

My '69 Safari had a front and rear angle iron support connected to the
inside of the skid rail.  The sheet metal housing was mounted almost flush
against the inside street side frame.  The bolts that connect this side of
the angle iron support can only be reached from one side.  The hidden nut or
bolt head was installed along side a welded angle tab to position the
holding tank cover AND lock the nut or bolt in position.  Sort of like an
extra hidden hand! :)  The curb side had sufficient room to use tools from
both sides of the angle iron to remove the bolts.

Anyway, for very rusty bolts, I drill them out!  Use safety glasses and
something like a 1/8 inch drill bit and drill into the nut/bolt or head to a
depth nearly through the bolt.  If you happen to be drilling near the nut,
you can use progressively larger drill bits and change the angle to shear
off the nut, bolt, etc.  For a bolt that seems stubborn, I use a cold chisel
to finish the task.  In other situations, I use what I call a rotary file
(die grinder) that fits my electric drill to grind off the heads of bolts,
screws, etc.  With this tool, you need a dust mask as the metal shards are
very fine and will float in the air enough to enter your lungs? :(

Depending on what your intention is with removing the housing, there are
several safeguards that you should consider.  Let me know what you are
attempting to do and I'll give you my solutions to problems so you can work
smart and not damage expensive components.  Maybe post a picture of your
bathroom layout?
