The 'rear-bath' sag was a problem with some of the larger early-70's models,
and the frame was reinforced to deal with this. rear-bumper separation, and
a bulge in the lower skin behind the rear wheel well was the tell-tale sign
of this.
check out the various airstream archives for other info. 'spongey' floor
sections indicate leakage/rot/water damage.
if you're buying this trailer without performing a comprehensive inspection
(or having one done), i'm afraid you're on your own.
