Does any one know where one can find out if the OPD valve on 40#
horizontal tanks is really required by law in all states. I have checked
with the state of North Carolina, and found out it is NOT in this state.
I would like to know I am OK in all states before taking off to Alaska
in June, sense I will be 21 states and 4 Provinces in Canada on the
trip. I would like to think I could get LP gas where ever it is needed
and available. I am also not all fired up about plunking out over $600
to replace my two tanks, just to get a $25 or $30 valves added to each
one. Plus the new tanks don't have remote readouts, which I just spent
$75 repairing these on the two tanks I have now.
