Sounds like you are already familiar with the basic requirements.  The term
"hitch platform" refers to the welded steel structure that has four or six
legs bolted or welded to the tow vehicle frame and contains the female
square tube into which the hitch head's draw bar is attached and pinned.
Your previous message indicates you already have a Class III hitch receiver
platform attached to your tow vehicle.
