Thanks for the advice on the rear bath, it does make sense to not fill the tanks 
and drive around.

I am now looking at 73/29' Ambassador with a rear bath and twin beds.  This one 
looks roomier and is in better shape, but no air conditioner.  Is that an 
expensive add on?  Next winter we may go to Death Valley and Baja, we might need 
one then.
