The Limited model was a trim level label. The Limited's, in both trailer
and classic motorhomes, had all the toys available that year.

If our sales department's experience is any example, they aren't that
problematic. We haven't gotten one in on trade in several years. They get
regular inquiries looking for them.

As for their demise, that is generally credited to the Airstream owner's
club. Until 1994 an owner had to have either a aluminum skinned trailer
or motorhome to be a member. It took nearly 20 years of offered
alternatives from the Argosy to the Landyacht before the members relented
in the face of declining membership to let us red-headed step-children in
the fold.

The modern motorhome era started on the Dodge series chassis until Chevy
started pitching it's bread truck chassis to the industry. Then in the
70's when Chrysler almost went under Chevy became the primary supplier to
the industry. Ford didn't jump into the Class A chassis market seriously
until the 90's. The vast majority of gas powered class A motorhome
chassis built in the 80's were on the P30 chassis. As Coop mentioned the
front shocks in particular were pretty lame.  Also a significant number
of brands suffered from cracked exhaust manifolds from trapped heat. This
was not a problem typically seen in the Airstream coach.
