The fellow in the photo in the attachment had stopped for directions and was
kindly chit/chatting with the fellow giving directions at his farm stand
nearby his house up in Maine.
Well, when all was said and done, our Airstream friend forgot exactly where
he was and that his trailer was still behind him.  He took off thru the
"rather tight" turnout and took out part of the front porch and entry area.
Upon entering the trailer he found that a railing had pierced thru the outer
skin of the Airstream, right next to his 1 month old refrigerator, thru the
shower, out the shower and across the hallway toward the closet.
In order to continue using the rig for the weekend Region 1 rally, he had to
saw the 2X4-type railing so he could enter his bedroom area and make
additional cuts in the shower stall.  Duct tape and plastic sheeting was
used to cover the outer skin and shower stall.

It was a 1987 29' and Foremost totaled it.
