Hi Jim Cooper:    over the years have come to the conclusion that newer members
feel sort of left out or overwhelmed by the oldies........and yet we oldies have
some stuffy ideas too......I for one feel the need for more mini caravans since
after I have been to the same location 20 times for a rally find it very boring
except for the visiting with firends......I have discovered several units are
combining a mini caravan along with a rally which may be a solution for some
problems.      I remember the big hassel about letting "motor homes" into our
trailer club some were extremely vocal
threatening to quit if they were let in and yet now see some of those very vocal
people driving MH.   The world is changing,  way back then the idea of PC was
off in the distance, and now there seem to be more MH on the road than trailers
or 5th wheels.    So much home entertainment is now centered around TV  many
people never really get out and visit with other people....where is it
leading....young, old or in the middle we all have brains, ideas, stories to
tell,  experiences and  tho it might take a little while to remember how to
converse we can do it!    Sitting around a campfire still leads to good
conversation so maybe we need more campfires.   My parents took me camping when
I was 2 months old and am still at it.70+ years later.
The way to blend into a group is get out of your trailer or MH and visit and get
to know each other......So now I have said my 3 cents worth   Pearl in So Cal
