[A/S] Fix the leak?

Mary, you have now received many responses to your leak problem. Here is one
more: I had an identical leak, on both sides of my trailer. The previous
owner had assumed that the leak came from the windows, and had over-caulked
everything, to no purpose.
Eventually, I fixed both leaks by caulking around the awning rail. I filled
the rivet holes and also applied a continuous bead along the top edge of the
rail. Voila, no more leaks.
I think it stands to reason that the awning, with the pressures on it, is a
good place to begin looking for the leak.
