Re: [A/S] bounce/ swimming/tatters& wet wood

Steve,

I recently found that NAPA parts stores carry new gas charged shocks
intended to be used as front shocks for '60s to early '70s Chevy 1/2 ton
pickups. The price was about $18 per as I remember.

Your '72 doesn't have a grey water tank so when you empty the sink your
water is discharged against a closed gate valve and fills the bathtub. Gray
water can be discharged into a portable tank on wheels available at RV
stores, through a garden hose onto the ground where permitted, or into the
sewer connection in an RV park.

Airstream does not have replacment curtains. Many local shops can make them
and there are a couple of nationwide shops that cater to the A/S market.

You have come to the right place. Someone on this list will be able to
answer every question you have and direct you to parts sources.

Good luck,
Harvey Barlow
