Hi -  !.  Buy only a name brand (there are copies made odd far eastern
places.  2, Now and then, check the mounting bolts for tightness.  3. When
doig #2 also look for cracks at welds - any such will be EXTREMELY rare
(loose bolts more often).
I've had NO problems with hitches since going to factory platforms; though
have had rewelds done on blacksmith shop installations back when.  (First A/S
in 1062).  WBCCI 6555
