I have a 70 sovreign, over time my tambors came apart at the joints. rather
than buy new tambour panels I used artist canvas as backing, glued using
elmers glue then clamped overnight using a board on each side the size of
the door, this has worked well. You can remove the doors by rolling up,
inside the track are two screws remove them on one side, then remove the
track, you only have to remove one side. when reassembling roll the tambour
as if it is rolled up, this will make installation easier, then slide the
tambour in the side that still has the track attached, then install it in
the track that was removed. place the track in its normal position and roll
up, then replace the screws.
