Thanks so much for all your info. I have discovered that the ball 
thing I was refering to is called the coupler and mine is attached on 
top of the frame (Choice A). The bottom of my coupler is even with 
the bottom of the frame ( Which was Choice C)so that was confusing me.
So much too learn...but I'm getting there with your help. Thanks 
again.
