Re: [A/S] Re: propane regulators

A good automatic regulator, such as the one Airstream has used for many years
(Fisher), will automatically change over without any change in lpg pressure
or even a tiny flicker in the smallest of pilot lights. Some cheaper ones
usually do not give the same performance. This is one area that considerable
thought should be given to any compromising, as you will only get the
performance that you are willing to pay for. However, in all fairness, if you
don't mind a little less, then by all means go for a cheaper one. Also,
remember to have the lpg pressure checked after you change a requlator. They
should be set, but- - - -, things happen. The proper lpg pressure is 11 to 13
inches of water column. It is better to have it set closer to 13 inches, if
you frequent higher elevations. Lori
