[A/S] HEATER COVER
The '62 Overlander had a Bowen Hot Water Heater, and a very fancy cover.
Best solution I ever saw for a replacement (someone had threw away the
old one when installing a replacement), was to have a sheetmetal shop
form the basic cover from sheet aluminum on a pan brake, cut out a lower
opening and install a perforated metal door. Textured aluminum "ears"
were added for the two venting covers. It was done nicely, and looked so
much better that the flimsy white door than came with the replacement HW
Heater. See my site at http://www.vintageairstream.com/myrtle_tour_details2.html
to see the original.
I thought the Overlander used the chimney style (roof) exhaust vent for
the heater. Check out the Overlander pictures I have in the archive
section for more info and to clarfy what cover you are refering to.
