We purchased our 31ft International 2 years ago and tow it about 2000 miles
a year right now. My tow vehicle is a 1993 GMC 1500 P/U with a 5.7 V8. It
tows so-so. I just recently found out that it has a 3.08 rear axle.No good!
At this time a new vehicle is out of the question. I am considering changing
the rear to a 3.73 ratio. Would this be considered a worthwhile change? Also
I have the 4L60E tranny.
