thanks for the advice Scott, 
   Hav`nt  towed it across country ,but around state here, I hav`nt had any
trouble yet.Not to say I wont.
My former safari and current overlandr definitetly need bars, would`nt
leave without em. The caravel is so little, I didnt think weight dist. bars
neccesary. I`ve hauled all manner of car trailers, etc,much heavier than
2250 (caravel), car trailers never have sway bars ,etc. I`m  starting
overhaul of Caravel this winter ,will add bars to parts needed.
