You're correct that there is no owner's manuals for the '62 model year.
There may have been a shop manual for that year, but I wouldn't count on
finding one, even if it does exist.  Maybe the VAC Historian has something
in the archives?

I suggest you use the continuity function on a multi-meter to trace the
circuits, and figure out which switches and breakers control which circuits,
and draw a diagram of them.  Turn appliances on to test their circuits.
You may have to put jumpers into the AC outlets to complete their circuits,
or plug something in and turn it on.   You can do this for the 12v and the
120 v circuits, but disconnect the battery and the shore power first.  (Hope
I'm not belaboring the obvious...).
