Cathy and Dan.

Scott said it so well! Please don't put it in a nursing home (that is
what you would be doing if you put your wonderful trailer in a
permanant place). I know where you plan to put it is beautiful but so
are many nursing homes. Take it on the road and enjoy it. Think of all
the neat people you will meet just stopping as you go on a trip. I never
stop at a rest area, service station, restaurant or even a Wal-Mart
that I don't have oh's and ah's for my fun Bambi. I'm even risking it
to take the 6000 mile caravan from McAllen Texas to Panama this winter.
Remember, no matter how young you are now you will eventually wrinkle
with age and experience and joy. Let your trailer do the same.

Insurance people tell me that 95% of Airstream accidents are from BAD
driving. Speed and turning too quickly are the biggest culprits. I have
been towing a trailer of some size for over twentyfive years and even
with an occasional blowout I have never lost control.. Remember to take
the wind, passing trucks, terrain, traffic and weather into
consideration. That doesn't mean you need to go 40 all the times but it
maybe necessary once in a while. Always reduce your speed in the wind.
Remember that when you start to fishtail, lightly use the hand control
for the trailer brakes but do not apply the towing vehicle brakes first.
I've been to a lot of seminars about this.

Go enjoy your trailer and the fellowship it brings. If we all left our
trailers home there would be nothing to see at a rally.
