 I'd think that a 60's vintage Wagoneer would be a pretty good tow vehicle.
Like a 'Burb, they're built on a truck chassis. In fact, I have the entire
body of one laying out back; I bought it for the engine (OHC 6) that I
needed for my '64 Jeep P/U. It was 2WD, but I was able to adapt the power
steering into the 4WD P/U. When I quit using the truck for work purposes, it
crossed my mind on more than one occassion to transplant the running gear
under the Wagoneer, "just for the helluvit".

Sold the truck, still have the Wagoneer body. <<sigh>>
