I used both the DeWalt and the Cyclo when doing my '56 Bubble which had 
44 years of oxidation.  However I only  used the Cyclo for a final coat 
of  Rolite AP300 (a second coat).  I did not use the cyclo for the 
original, heavy oxidation removal and my feeling/opinion is that I doubt 
it would do the job the DeWalt did, at least on my trailer.  It is just 
did not seem  powerful enough.  However, I suspect that a trailer that 
may have had an earlier polish or not have a heavy build up of oxidation 
the cyclo might do the job.  However, I cannot believe I could have ever 
polished out the  heavy scratches, etc. on my  with out the power, 
weight, and the motor control of the DeWalt and the ability to manipulate 
the pressure on the single polishing head.   I also found the cottom pads 
with effective in pickup  up  the oxidation mud  you generate as you 
polished and made cleaning the skin less troublesome.  I found the foam 
pads of the cyclo did not pick up quite as succesfully.  It may have been 
the foam pads and if I had used cotton or wool pads their might not  be a 
difference.  What I did like about the Cyclo is the eveness of the finaly 
finish.  It shows less buffing patterns. I suspect in a year when/if I 
need to apply a another coat of AP300 I will use the Cyclo.  It is 
lighter and very easy to use, without the arm strength required for the 
DeWalt.  In planning my polishing project the opinions I collected about 
the cyclo was that it is not the best heavy duty polisher but was great 
of trailer was not heavily oxidized and that a single head polish with 
attributes similar or same as the DeWalt was the best bet.  That 
investment in the DeWalt was less money anyway.  The Cyco I did use I 
borrowed from a friend who acquired it after I started my project.
