Phil,

While your explanation is right for the years it applies to, it is not
universal in the wonderful world of Airstream. Recommend you preface
with the years it applies to. The real early coaches did indeed have a
dual voltage system, using Romex for AC & DC. A person changed the light
bulbs and flipped a switch to change voltage. And of course the Univolt
is no longer manufactured. The late 80's and most of the 90's the
Magnetek was used. Now the Todd Engineering Power Source is used.
