The 12 Volt circuits are completly different from the 120 VAC 
curcuits.
All the 12 VDC curcuits start at the 12 VDC fuse panel.
All the 120 VAC curcuits start at the Main AC panel.
The only place they come together is at the Univolt Battery Charger-
power Supply, it is powered by 120 VAC.

If the battery is out of the trailer and it is plugged into 120 VAC 
you should have 12 VDC being produced by the Univolt and distributed 
through the 12 VDC panel and you should have 120 VAC at all the wall 
plugs and the AC unit, if it is all hooked up and working.

With the battery in place and no 120 VAC you will have 12 VDC being 
distributed through the 12 VDC panel and no 120 VAC, if it is all 
hooked up and working.

If the battery is in place and the trailer is plugged into 120 VAC, 
the battery is being charged by the Univolt and the battery is 
supplying 12 VDC to the 12 VDC panel and there will be 120 VAC at 
your plugs and the AC unit.

It is really no different than dragging an extension cord out to the 
car and hooking a battery charger up to the car. You could listen to 
the car radio, or you could plug a TV into the cord and sit in the 
car and watch.
