Re: [A/S] Wheels

The six lug bolt pattern is standard. Certain wheels off chev 1/2 tons
will fit although on some hubs a little work on the center hole is needed.

Dexter offers a number of different steel wheels including the one in the
camping world catalog, cw # 10167 I think, in the master catalog. The cost
is well under $40. a wheel. The rating is 2600 lbs which is in keeping
with the tires typically used.
From a safety stand point better to get new ones as the cost is so low.

If you need a general source for Dexter wheels, brake parts etc Try
www.luckyb.com.

I have not looked at the web site but have purchased wheels ,axles etc from
the local outlet in Cookeville Tn. 800 476 8923. They have several other
locations across the country

You should be able to replace the lugs in your hubs with something that
will work. On the KH hubs it is necessary to remove the brake armature
plates. Don't know for sure who made the brakes for the 57. My 54 had
Warner with the big round magnets.
