Hunter,

while you are cruising around the area you may want to to back up a few
miles and try the Tenn. Cumberland Plateau Campground.  This is an
Airstream campground about 15 miles south of Crossville Tn (exit 317 off I
40 Ithink.
Just proceed south on rt 127 and look for the signs.

It is one of the nicest I have seen.  I think it is currently $10 a night
or memberships are available.  Over 300 acres of woods well isolated from
everything.
