RE: [A/S] black tank

Scott,
Regarding the vent, I replaced the original toilet with a Sealand Traveler.
 After I installed the black tank with a new plywood floor, I drilled a
hole throw the top and through the plywood floor.  Went to West Marine and
bought a boat thru-hull fitting and mounted in the top of the tank,
tightening the through hull fitting to the tank and floor.  This where I
attached the black tank vent.

My toilet is in the shower so we may be different but the black tank should
come straight up when the trim is removed.  It's probably wedged tight if
it doesn't move.
