[A/S] World's First Airstream Motor Home?

Found these two old photos today & decided to share them with the group. Be warned,
they are very poor quality; I took them with a 200 mm lens with a 2X extender, through
the windshield, through the trees, in a rainstorm. Is that enough excuses? Oh, yes, I
also took them 28 years ago, in July of 1972. They were taken in the Old Faithful
parking lot in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. So what is this thing? I think it
is a late 40s Wee Wind grafted onto a Volkswagen split-window bus chassis. As I
recall, the driver was an older fellow, not a hippie (remember, it was in '72). I
wonder where this little guy is now. Here is the link to the first pic:
