Re: [A/S] Outdoor Sportsmen?

Scott,
I am too lazy to go through all my books, but if you go to the AMAZON.COM
site and enter a search for Airstream, you will come up with a really great
book by a writer for the men's hunting and fishing magazines. The title is
"................something ...........something......travels in an
Airstream" I think. But there are only a couple of books that come up and
that's one of them. His book was very engrossing and not really about
Airstreams. His narrative made it clear how nice it was to come in from a
day in the field to a warm cozy trailer with hot water, etc. He traveled
comfortably with his bird dog. A canoe can be mounted on an
over-the-cab-and-bed rack on a pickup just so it doesn't hang too far over
the rear end and hit the trailer on turns. Putting it on top of the trailer
would present more problems than most would want to deal with.
I promised myself fly fishing as a retirement pleasure (don't really know
what I'm doing with a rod yet) and I suspect my 1958 Traveler model Airstream
will spend many a week on the rivers of the Northwest and Canada when I do
retire.
Go for it!
Tom
