If you are not a automotive handy man, a mechanic, or a super tinkerer I 
would never recommend buying one of those Classic Airstream motorhomes.  
I have never know anyone who hasn't had continual multipile problems.  
Most successful owner I know was a retired  city bus driver mechanic who 
knew how to diagnose and fix every problem.  But  future buyers beware. I 
think these units take all the prizes as lemons and I suspect had a lot 
to do with their discontinuance.
