[A/S] Bad ground wire

I think I am looking for a person who has done frame off restoration.
The ground wire, between the trailer connector cable and the rear 12 
V electrical panel, is open. I found an access panel under the front 
right side where the cable splices into the trailer wiring, that is a 
good connection, past that I am not sure how the wire is routed on 
its way to the rear.

I can jumper the wire between these two points and everything works 
OK, but without the jumper the running lights and brake lights barely 
light. I could string a wire under the trailer belly pan and clip it 
in place but I'd rather find the break.

Does anyone know of a hidden factory joint in the wire?
