Jim, Plug the trailer in to shore power and turn on a few lights. Pull the plug, and the lights should remain 'on' if the battery is good. Plug 'er back in and pull one wire from the battery. The lights should remain 'on' if the UniVolt is working. Or, put a voltmeter on the battery. It should be about 12.5 volts or a bit more when you first unplug it, and should rise to 13.8-14.5 when the trailer is connected to shore power. <<Jim>>
