Don't use the time based controllers. I did for a while. The trailer got into a NASTY sway condition. I hit the controller hard. The brakes took what seemed to be an eternity to engage enough to bring her under control. I got rid of that piece of junk 3 days later! I think that they are dangerous in an emergency situation.
