Thanks for the buttressing info.  I wasn't quite sure whether you ended up 
with your two batteries under the street-side couch?  I have one other 
question about a place to put batts.  My existing furnace, under the galley 
works OK but it's fan is noisy and rarely used in the warmers climes.  I am 
planning on installing a small catalytic unit. I could pull out the furnace 
and put two in there.  Would that be a bad idea for a vintage 
coach?  Probably would have the same issue as under the couch.  Maybe 2 
batts on each side :)

The only reason I would go for four flexible panels is that they are long 
and narrow and four 32 watters will fit in the space now occupied by the A/C.
