Re: [A/S] Re: solar installation
Hi Hunter,
You asked this question awhile back. We've been pushing west and haven't had a convenient
opportunity to receive and send email. On the chance this answer will be useful, here goes -
There's no need for tying each electrical plug to its own inverter. Instead -- ask Noel Kirkby
(800-999-8520) or (www.rvsolarelectric.com) to send you his little black box (transfer switch) to
make all alternating current plugs live from the inverter. He has instructions on how to install it.
BUT,
If you're not confident, ask his man to do it for you. Make arrangements ahead of time (be in the
parking lot behind his store late Sunday afternoon when no one is there, then have the work done
first thing Monday morning - pull up along his side door at dawn). Or ask an RV dealer who does
solar work to install it for you. If you've read Noel's material, you'll be able to discuss the
installation with some measure of understanding. Of course, if you don't like what the RV dealer's
electrician tells you, cancel the work order and do a 180. It has to be done right - the first time.
