Rebuilts may be ok, but in your case with those prices, I'd get a new one. I got a rebuilt cooling unit in Michigan for my Dometic RM3807 that leaked following a collision, but the difference in price there was $850 (including labor and taxes)- vs - $1,200 + labor and taxes. Besides, I wanted to keep the cabinet I had. My rebuilt one works fine so far. - Dick (5368)
