[A/S] Re: refrigerators- to rebuild or not to rebuild

Hello all-
I have a '69 Tradewind w/ a Dometic MB52 refrig. that has a tiny leak 
in the cooling unit.  I'm looking into rebuild units and so far the 
cheapest one, including shipping and installation, will cost over 
$500.  A new refrig. costs roughly $700.  I've heard the old units 
are more reliable than the new ones because they don't have a circuit 
board.  A dealer told me "w/proper maintenance you can get 10 years 
out of a new refrig.."  Shoot the old one has lasted 30 years 
w/little to no maintenance.  My question is are rebuilts reliable or 
will I continue to throw money at it or should I just get a new
