    Thank you for all your information!   My Ford E150 has a 302 engine.  I
don't know yet about ratios or anything.  I still have to have that checked
out.  It has a standard carb, not fuel injected, I don't think, but I will
check that also.
    I have pulled a horse trailer (a single trailer) with it, but that is
about all.  I think the weight would run about 3000# (horse and trailer
combined) and I had some drag.  I don't know it it was the trailer or the
rearend of the van that was dragging.   It was only when going up hill.  I
already knew about not running it in overdrive, just in drive, because I have
hauled loads inside the cargo area before.   I was warned about it a long time
ago.  It still has the original transmission (1984).  But I sure have been
learning a lot from this list.   What a great list!!!  And all of you have
been so helpful.
