[A/S] Electrical: (Was.. 220 volt surge)
Knock on wood, I have no electrical problems with my Safari. (which, BTW, I am
keeping).
Of course I have never, ever, been hooked up at a campground, I always boondock.
Someday I hope to go the solar route, space allowing..for batteries, and panels.
My power cord is a 120V plug. The original Univolt is gone, and in it's place
is a battery charger. I run off the battery at all times, even if I am plugged
in, which I am when I am home and working on it. I charge with my truck, and
the charger.
Are all campgrounds 30/50 amp? Will I be able to plug in at a campground without
an adapter?
I want to update my electric, but really will be starting from ground zero with
electricity. I know nothing!
I am awfully impressed with the knowledge on this list dealing with electricity..especially
Gerald, and Jim. Between the two of them, most electrical questions can be
answered!!
If I read the 12Volt Bible, or the other popular 12Volt books, will I be able
to figure this stuff out on my own? Are they books for beginners? Could I
possibly become an expert? <g>
