Re: [A/S] Univolt and Solar Power

At present I only have one house battery, which is located in the rear
access area.  There is no room for additional batts.

I plan to install four 32 watt flexible solar panels, attached over the top
mid section of the coach. I have been advised to keep the wire run short to
the batts.  That makes the empty space under my streetside couch ideal for
2-3 storage batts.

I would like to keep my Univolt because it works and I still hold on
tenaciously to my vintage tradition :) I plan to keep my 600 watt inverter
because it is capable of running my vacuum, microwave, TV/VCR, and blender
for smoothies.  I run these appliances only one at a time.

Ideal installation would unite both systems and the inverter would be only
a downstream application.  Forget any idea of the invertor feeding all A/C
service in the coach.

Highest priority is most perfectly charged batteries to feed 12 volt to all
systems in coach.

Thanks,
Bob
