Roger, I never thought to mention the UniVolt. If your inverter feeds the main 120VAC circuitry in the trailer, the UniVolt must be switched 'Off' when you're running the inverter. I think that most A/Ss are wired with the UniVolt on its own circuit breaker on the 120VAC side. The "right" way to wire your trailer with an inverter would be to install a "transfer switch" that switches only the receptacle circuit(s) to the inverter, leaving the A/C and UniVolt circuits connected to the shore power cord. <<Jim>>
