I wish it were that way. The Uni shares a circuit with 5 outlets and the polarity light, while the A/C is on a circuit of it's own. I may just isolate the Uni, and run a new circuit to tie into the A/C line. Then it will only run on shore power. I do have an automatic transfer switch, but that's not the problem. Still considering the suggestion made by you and others to go with a StatPower or some other setup like that.
