Norma,
 I have a 1973 Avion 25' trailer, and from what I can see of it compared
to our '68 A/S, the Avion truly IS built better than the latter. The
frame is better, the floor is better, and the sidewall and roof
insulation is better. It is probably a bit heavier than an A/S from the
same model year, mine is about 5300# with propane and batteries, but
nothing else.

FWIW: others agree on the "Avion is better than A/S" assessment. The
biggest downside to an Avion is that it's not an A/S, you're not
eligable for membership in WBCCI, for instance.
