Boojum discussed a little about how these devices work and they sound like a good alternative to white-hot disks. A couple of questions though... What's the long term effects on your engine - specifically your valves? With all this engine braking going on, I assume there's no trailer braking at the same time (unless of course you're tapping the regular brakes and engaging the trailer brakes), what's the impact on handling?
