Much thanks to Dr. Johnson and all the others who so kindly responded to
my plea!

However, it goes to show how hard I find it to express myself clearly in
this medium. :)  Certainly I can get the original sections from a/s. 
But I want to get a bit more creative than that.  So what I really am
looking for is a more general source: honeycomb cores, sheet, rods,
bars, channel, and common extrusions.  Something with a (preferably
online) catalog that I can browse until the ideas gel -- and then order
and have the little brown truck bring it to me.  

Any more ideas, friends?
