[A/S] new to me '61 overlander

Hi, just brought home my 50'th b'day present, an untouched original 
1961 Overlander, dual axle,twin side bed model. Exterior is good 
shape though in desperate need of polishing. Interior is all there 
right down to the funky turquoise upholstery. The fridge is cooling 
trying to make ice cubes in our 107 degree Austin, Tx heatwave, and 
the original rooftop a/c is even trying to cool the interior down. 
Plumbing is ok, leakless so far, but I have not been able to get hot 
water to the rear bath. Any suggestions? Have I overlooked some 
hidden valve? I look forward to getting this ole girl back on the 
road and meeting some of you fine folks. Mike
