[A/S] 1958 18 ft model

Hi Cait, and thanks Tom.
Cait, your 58, if it is a 58 has a serial number.  If the ID tag to the
right of the door, or next to the door is missing, you still have a
chance to discover it's roots.
Your title may have the serial number on it.  There is also an outside
possibility , that the serial number might be stamped on the A-frame
near the LP tanks.   If all of that is missing, you still might find
some pertinent paper work inside.  Some late fifties and earl sixties
models had an electrical schematic, or other drawing behind, or in a
cabinet.  Take a close look.
If the ID tag is missing,........was it stolen, and resold with a bill
of sale??    If you do have a serial number, and it is a 58 Wanderer,
the number should be in a series of  O-2000 and up.  It could be a
Traveler, Globe Trotter, or possibly a Caravel.  Doubful, it is a
Caravel, because it was re-introduced as an 18 footer in 1959.  My
question is, how did the ID tag get torn off, or,..........removed?
