You can buy ungrounded or non-grounded CB antennas that are specifically
made for mounting on aluminum, fiberglass, etc.  They're specifically made
for applications such as RVs and TT.  I got a tunable Firestick model at a
CB shop and it works OK.
I think though for tow vehicle-to-camper communications the FRS radios are
preferable.  They're smaller, I seem to get clearer signals, and they seemed
to transmit well through the heavy aluminum skin of my old Cayo.
