Well said Jim, I talked to our city Mechanics this morning.  They confirm
what Jim said.  My mechanics opinion was that our fire engines are seldom
really run constant hard enough to get the turbo super hot (i.e.., even if
we are pumping water at high RPM for a long period, the vehicle get driven
back to quarters at very slow/low load).  Long pulls on a smaller diesel
would be a different story.
