Whenever someone cites and incident of towing instability out comes the 
Hensley Armada.  Where is the Reese Armada or even the Blue-Ox, EAS-Lift or 
Draw-tite Armada?  All these companies make fine stabilizing hitches that 
work quite well at 20% of the price of a Hensley.  Any discussion of price 
usually brings out the impassioned defense "What price safety?"  But if a 
person can't afford $3500 for their hitch they can still get a mechanically 
sound stable mechanism for  an affordable price.

For those can afford the finest . . . Hensley makes that claim.

I can only testify that the difference between pulling my Safari through 
the mountains with only a ball hitch vs. a Reese stabilizing hitch was like 
night and day.

I had tracking control of my coach at high speeds, big curves, passing 
semis and all the usual danger spots.  I can honestly say that my van is 
more stable pulling the trailer with my vintage Reese Stabilizing hitch 
than it is when I'm not pulling a trailer at all.  A good shot of this full
