Actually, the truck doesn't get the Hensley...the trailer does.

Terrifying feeling isn't it. I had a huge stainless steel horse trailer.  
Three horse slant load with a huge dressing room.  My tow vehicle was a 3/4 
ton Suburban, 4:10 rear and 454 V8.

I was terrified driving it.... it was just too much trailer for that 
truck...made worse because my precious horses were inside.

I drove them in it about 4-5 times and got a horse van.  It took me a year to 
sell that monster trailer beacuse people who wanted to buy it didn't have a 
truck I would let them pull horses with. Finally a professional mobile home 
mover with a 1 ton dually... 454 showed up.  He got it.

Loaded with horses, tack, feed that sucker weighed 11,000 pounds.

Maybe that's why I have so much truck now, don't ever want that feeling of 
the tail wagging the dog again.

The woman with the new Safari was very interested in my Hensley. She said her 
trailer oscillates back and forth when small vans pass her.... no problems 
with the big trucks.  I wonder what's up with that?

Warren, I'm really sorry that your first experience towing was so horrible.
Please, don't be discouraged.  If I were you I would get a bigger truck and 
have someone come and hook the whole rig up for me.  Plenty of people tow 
safely with Reese type set ups... anti sway bar, weight distributing hitch 
etc... but they have to be adjusted correctly. I doubt yours was.
